Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Decouplr ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Decouplr platform, including our website, AI assistant, and automation build services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Service description
Decouplr is an AI-assisted automation design and build platform. You describe a repetitive business process in plain English through our conversational interface, and we generate a custom, production-ready automation tailored to your requirements. The platform includes AI-powered conversation to capture your needs, automated generation of the technical design, and delivery of the completed automation for managed hosting or self-deployment.
The specific features and capabilities of the platform may evolve over time as we develop and improve the service.
3. Account
To use certain features of the platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete business information, including your business name, contact name, and email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information during registration and to update it promptly if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
4. Acceptable use
Decouplr is intended for lawful business use only. When using the platform, you agree that you will not:
- Use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful, fraudulent, or prohibited by these Terms.
- Attempt to design or build automations that facilitate illegal activity, cause harm to third parties, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Abuse, harass, or attempt to manipulate the AI assistant, including attempting to extract its system instructions, bypass its safety controls, or use it for purposes unrelated to automation design.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, other users' accounts, or our underlying systems and infrastructure.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the platform.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited communications, spam, or bulk messaging.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you are in breach of this section.
5. Intellectual property
The automations generated for you through the platform are yours. You retain full ownership of the output code, configurations, and technical designs produced specifically for your automation. You are free to use, modify, deploy, and distribute your automation output without restriction.
Decouplr retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the platform itself, including but not limited to: the underlying scaffolding engine, generation templates, AI models and prompts, the conversational interface, platform infrastructure, and all associated intellectual property. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our platform technology beyond the right to use the service as described herein.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the platform (as distinct from your automation output) may be used by us without obligation or compensation to you.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Decouplr's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Decouplr in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
In no event shall Decouplr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business opportunity, or business interruption, however caused and regardless of the theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
7. No warranties
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the platform will be available at all times, that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. As an early-stage service, we do not guarantee any particular level of uptime or availability. While we make reasonable efforts to keep the platform operational, planned and unplanned downtime may occur.
You acknowledge that the automations generated by the platform are produced with the assistance of artificial intelligence and should be reviewed and tested before deployment in any production environment.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may stop using the platform and request deletion of your account by contacting us at build@decouplr.io. We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform at our discretion if you breach these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice.
Upon termination, your right to access the platform will cease immediately. Any automations already delivered to you remain yours. You may request deletion of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and we will comply within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain records.
The following sections survive termination: Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, No Warranties, and Governing Law.
9. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
